Chicken with Teriyaki Marinade
In a wok on your side burner, make some fried rice or vegetable stir-fry
to serve alongside this dish - it doesn't get any easier!
servings: Makes 3 to 4 servings.
Ingredients
2 pounds chicken breasts, cut into 8 pieces
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup soy sauce
¼ cup sherry or sweet white wine
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh ginger
1 tablespoon white distilled vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
Directions
Combine all the ingredients (except chicken) in a non-reactive bowl.
Mix well. Add the chicken pieces and marinate for 45 minutes in the refrigerator.
Remove the chicken and grill at a medium high heat for 45 to 50 minutes,
turning several times and basting frequently with the marinade.
